Hirschmann MSP30/40 Series is a Industrial DIN Rail Ethernet MPS Modular Switch with up to 28 Gigabit Ethernet ports

FEATURES

Increase bandwidth with 28 Gigabit Ethernet ports
- Reusable modules that can be used on any slot (first slot is reserved for a newly designed and unique 2.5 GE module)
- Up to four 2.5 GE ports for high availability with media redundancy protocol (MRP) and link aggregation
- 10 Gigabit module soon available
Modular setup with hot swappable module slots and Layer 2/Layer 3 capabilities
High-grade metal/aluminium housing for mounting on a DIN rail
Optionally extended temperature range from -40°C to +70°C (standard is from 0°C to +60°C)
Cost-effective powering of terminal equipment via PoE+ function. The backplane of the switch supports up to 120 watts and additional media modules with external power supply can even increase the total amount of available PoE power
Simple configuration and diagnosis using HiDiscovery, HiView, Industrial HiVision or web interface
Diversity of standards and approvals
